10 Games for XBox 360

The Xbox 360 Black was officially announced — so we can have an Xbox 360 that matches our furniture. More importantly, we’ll have an excuse to buy the following kick-ass Xbox 360 games. If you don’t have these ten games, you’re missing out on the latest & greatest in gaming.

1.Guitar Hero II. Test your rhythm and feel like a rock star, with new songs. We’ve all wanted to feel like that: On stage performing for a cheering crowd, feeling the love and the excitement of knowing you are their king. Here, you play along with 50 songs from Led Zep to Nirvana. Master ‘em all and show off a little flair and creativity. Who needs American Idol when you have this?

2.Gears of War. You’ve heard all the hype on this game by now, but we’ll repeat it here. It’s a revolutionary mix of survival-horror and tactical shooting, with a great storyline and amazing graphics. Games rarely make you sweat or get your pulse racing anymore - this one will.

3.NBA Street Homecourt - Streetball is a new thing for games, and no game does it better. If you want larger-than-life 3-on-3, on legendary street courts, this is your game.

4.Spider-Man 3. One of the world’s most famous heroes (and a native New Yorker) gets new enemies to fight with new moves. New powers & drama happen in his Black Costume personality, adding to the fun.

5.Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Building on the first game, the Ghosts fight Mexican rebel forces. Use new military weapons, equipment and tactics to beat back an imminent threat to the United States.

6.Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The classic dark atmosphere and fighting action of Castlevania mixes with RPG elements. The new open-ended gameplay and widescreen enhancements add to the thrills, and with Xbox Live Arcade you can play for hours. Literally.

7.Major League Baseball 2K7. Baseball games tend to be pretty much the same, but this one redefines the entire experience. All-new mechanics and killer Signature Style adjustments make you feel like you’re on the field.

8.Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles. Role-playing doesn’t get much better. Here you’ll explore a new dimension, where you’ll experience the power of the gods directly. It’s incredible.

9.Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Shooting at giant bugs in snow-covered environments is our idea of a perfect vacation. Since that doesn’t exist in real life, this is the next best thing.

10.Viva Pinata. This is for when you need a break from all that sports, role-playing and shooting. You’ll manage a living garden that grows piñatas. They’ll have lives you control, like The Sims. It’s cute, silly fun - perfect if you’re looking for something different.
