You just got home from work and you’re in the mood for music after a tough day. Over to the dock you walk, pop your MP3 player on it, select a playlist, and let it play. Then, you get a text message. So you run to the living room and unhook your phone, that also happens to have your music on it, and you read the text message then reply. Now you have no music because your smartphone/music player has to be removed from the dock to get at the other functions. Many of us have faced this problem with no clear cut solution that matched our thrifty lifestyles. Aluratek has a solution to this hardwired problem.
The Aluratek AIS01F is a Bluetooth Audio Receiver that provides wireless streaming of your music to any home audio system with a 3.5 stereo connector or stereo composite inputs (Y-adapter included). Using Class 2 Bluetooth technology, the AIS01F allows clear audio transmission from over 30 feet away from any smartphone, tablet, MP3 Player, Mac or PC equipped with Bluetooth. You can send text messages, emails, and browse the web while listening. I used this in an old brownstone and the unit performed more than admirably through the thick brick and mortar walls. Best of all was the fact that I still had control over volume, track selection, and my phone’s other functions.

Of note is the fact that if you do get a call the music will pause and resume once the call is ended. I don’t know if it works with all phones but it did work with mine. I also used it with my Mac. The unit discovered it quickly and I was playing music from my computer through my home stereo in a matter minutes. According to supplied information the unit can be paired with up to six devices. That’s plenty considering the fact that you might own maybe three Bluetooth devices. It’s a plus since it allows a guest to quickly play his or her own music through your system.
What impressed me the most about the AIS01F was the size and the price of the unit. It’s two-inches by one-inch and thinner than your average pack of gum. It’s self-powered by a lithium-ion rechargeable battery (charges with a supplied USB 2.0 cable) and you get all of this for an unbelievable $29.99. A similar solution can cost you upwards of $100 or more.
You may not have known you had this problem, but the Aluratek AIS01F is clearly the solution.
