This Guy Rules

An amazing musican, Taylor Eigsti, will perform and sign autographs live at J&R Music World, Jazz Store, 23 Park Row, 2nd Floor, Tuesday, March 28th. His performance begins at 12:30 and is a part of a WBGO Live Remote Broadcast Hosted by Rhonda Hamilton which begins at 10:00 am.

A true prodigy, Taylor Eigsti just turned 20. He opened for David Benoit at the age of 8, played with Dave Brubeck at 12, and released his first CD at 14, has been on the faculty of the Stanford Jazz Workshop since he was 15 and has gigged for years at high-profile clubs and national festivals, including Tanglewood, where he recently taped his second Piano Jazz appearance with Marian McPartland.

He’ll be tearing up the keyboard for this lunch-time concert, a treat for all those able to take advantage.

Taylor Eigsti’s just released CD is titled, Lucky To Be Me.

This is what it's about! Amazing jazz! These four skinny kids in their twenties gave this jazz lover in his sixties a thrill of a lifetime! They played intricate, witty ensemble music with passion, humor and adventure. They raised the roof! They had so much fun playing, they even blew each other away. Wow! in the middle of the workday, a Real-New-Yorkers-Know treat!
