MP3 players have gotten about as small as they will ever get at this point, unless you want something that is embedded under your skin or something. Now it isn’t about how small you can make it, it’s about what you can do with that small size. How can manufacturers creatively change the shape of our music players and the way we use them?
One way is to make an MP3 player the size and shape of a credit card. The Walletex is an MP3 player you can store in your wallet, not only saving you pocket space but getting itself out of your pocket altogether. It’s slightly thicker than a credit card, but from the looks of it it should be able to fit in your wallet. Now that’s all well and good for you ladies out there who keep your wallets in your purses, but I personally would be pretty reluctant to put it in a wallet that I sit on all day. Time will tell as to whether or not this will be able to stand up to rugged in-wallet use. Look for it to hit stores this June, with pricing and other details to be announced.
