iTunes users are in for a treat. With the appletv accessory, you can now watch iTunes video directly on your TV. As many blogs, among them rebelMac, ConsumerReports and apexad.net are reporting, appletv has a built-in 40GB hard drive for storage, an Intel processor, and is capable of delivering up to 720p high-definition resolution. With USB 2.0, Ethernet, HDMI, Component, Optical-digital connections along with integrated 802.11b/g/n WiFi, transferring and sharing video from different sources is a cinch.
As to the name and it’s spelling (capitalization) MacWorld blog reports that the correct spelling of Apple TV is appletv. Strategic Name development blog’s post, Brand Naming: iPhone and Apple TV Announced at MacWorld notices that in all the signing, Apple is using their logo, followed by lowercase “tv”.
