On Sunday April 29, 2012 Paley 100 held a screening of Ted Turner’s landmark documentary series Cold War. The twenty-four episode compilation screening was followed by a panel discussion with Ted Turner, series Executive Producers Pat Mitchell and Sir Jeremy Isaacs, and the Honorable President Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev. Several special guests were also in attendance, including our own Rachelle Friedman, CEO of J&R.

Dick Clark was nothing short of an American Icon. As a radio, television, and game show personality, Clark brought his signature enthusiasm to every endeavor. Clark is best known as the host of American Bandstand. In 1952 he served as a regular guest host on a show named Bob Horn’s Bandstand. Clark became the full time host in 1956 and the show was eventually picked up by ABC Television and renamed American Bandstand.
