Atane is the resident J&R audiophile. His passion is music, preferably jazz and blues. His preferred playback medium is vinyl. Make no mistake, he embraces SACD, DVD-A, high resolution downloads, and will even play the occasional cd, but vinyl reigns supreme in his old school two channel world. Outside of music, he’s an avid home theater enthusiast who has fully embraced blu-ray as the reigning king of audio and video reproduction for the consumer. He firmly believes that digital downloads are mere distractions for the time being. Atane’s other areas of interest are gaming, photography and blogging.
Lori (aka Daisy) is J&R’s Online Community Manager. She oversees the blog, as well as all of the company’s social networking accounts, like Facebook and Flickr. Her favorite game, gadget & DVD at the moment are Little Big Planet for the PS3, her iPhone and the 4th season of “Doctor Who” on DVD.
DrIZ is a writer and scientist. New York and ancient history are top hobbies. Possibly the most humble person around, DrIZ enjoys pseudo-narcissistic pleasures that foster anonymity from virtually every social media site. Subtly covert, DrIZ only reveals his personality in written words and always hides behind pseudonyms. Behind all this callous antisocial behavior, there are elements of a rural upbringing meshed with deeply religious foundations. Married to a life partner, devoted to many children and grandchildren, DrIZ is a resident of deep cyberspace.
