Baroque Brings Dungeons to the Wii

Baroque

There are a two main aspects to most RPGs: there’s the epic storyline, full of the requisite romantic characters, evil villains looking to destroy the world, and quirky people taking up the peripheral, and then there’s the battling. Those sections of the game that consist of fight after fight, with you leveling up, earning more points and better equipment, and becoming stronger along the way. If you are the type of person who lives for that 40-story dungeon full of monsters, well, have I got a game for you.

Baroque calls itself a “hardcore dungeon crawling RPG,” so you know it means business. Sure, there’s a story and interesting characters, but what you’re here for is the dungeon crawling, full of pervasive monsters and all the stats you can shake a stick at. Sure, other games might have more epic quests, but if you know what you like you really can’t go wrong with Baroque.
