You’re not sick of playing video games set in World War II yet, are you? I mean, I know that there are about ten thousand of them, but it’s still a very popular setting for first person shooter video games, and with good reason: it was a huge war with a large number of campaigns and locations. No two World War II games are alike. Which is why you shouldn’t dismiss Brothers in Arms – Hell’s Highway without playing it.
Yes, it’s set during World War II, but you play a paratrooper rather than your standard ground forces. You’ll exist within a squad, taking commands from your troop leader and carrying out various tasks. The graphics provide an intense sense of realism, for everything from going out on patrol to engaging in heavy firefights. It’s a fresh take on a busy genre; one that you’ll want to check out even if you feel like you’ve seen everything World War II has to offer.
