A Note From Our Co-Founder
The last couple weeks have been crazy for us. Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower. Mother’s Day. Our family’s first broken bone (more on that later; and yes, that was the craziest by far). When I was waaay younger, I used to keep a journal to record things I was excited about, upset about, or just plain found interesting. And in the wake of our very busy weeks, I’ve decided to pick back up the journal-ing but in a very public electronic forum by means of this blog.
Life is very different from what it was when I last kept that journal – I’m now a mom of two, a pediatrician, and wife of the founder of downtown NYC’s newest and best kid store (hey, I’m allowed to be biased) – J&R Jr. I am hoping this blog will provide a forum for me to share my thoughts on this crazy world of all-things BABY from the perspective of a gear-obsessed mom and pediatrician who also has an insider’s view into the kid business. So get ready for some random thoughts on my favorite products, interesting general peds tidbits, and reflections on the ins-and-outs of parenting two toddlers in NYC. In the meantime, my daughter is due for her first bath with her cast – wish us luck!
