Casio Exilim: 10 Megapixels under $400
Capture still pictures at an astounding 3.648×2.736 pixel resolution and video at up to 640×480 with the new, slim, Casio Exilim EX-Z1000. This remarkable digital camera has a 10 megapixel capture and is expected to sell for under $400. That’s professional quality imaging for very large images and prints. Images are stored on optional SD memory cards. It features a 3x zoom lens that is equivalent to a35mm camera’s 38mm to 114mm focal range.
With automatic and manual focus modes, and programmable auto exposure modes, the EX-Z1000 is amazingly simple for anyone to use yet it opens avenues for you to explore your creative instincts. A large, 2.8-inch, wide-format LCD monitor lets users enjoy high-impact images of their shots, with 240,000 pixel resolution, lets you see all the details on camera, without squinting.
There’s a built-in microphone for adding sound to stills and video.

BEST SHOT function with high-sensitivity shooting mode, up to a maximum of ISO 3200. Up to 37 BEST SHOT selectable images are available.
Anti Shake DSP, which is built into the EXILIM Engine image processor, reduces blurring due to unsteady hands or moving subjects.
Rapid Flash function enables up to three shots per second, enabling high-speed flash photography.
Fast power-on function, so the first shot can be taken less than 2 seconds after switching on.
Release time lag of only approximately 0.002 seconds, allowing the shot to be captured practically instantaneously with the push of the shutter button.
