Academy Award® winning actor Billy Bob Thornton will be stopping by J&R on August 18th for an in-store signing with his band The Boxmasters. They will be on hand to promote their recently released, self-titled debut CD.

The autograph signing will begin at 5:30pm at the J&R music store at 23 Park Row.

Brooke Fraser, the award-winning New Zealand singer-songwriter, will be performing songs from her latest CD, Albertine, at J&R Music World on June 25th. The performance starts at 12:30 and will be followed by an autograph signing.

The shows will be held in lovely City Hall Park, directly across the street from J&R on Park Row. As noted above, Friday’s showtimes are still to-be-announced, but check back here often for the latest updates.

With those kind of reviews, you will not want to miss Lach’s free in-store performance at J&R on June 4th. After his set, he will also be signing copies of his new CD, The Calm. The performance begins at 12:30.

It’s almost June, which means it’s almost time for J&R’s annual Summerfest concert series! This year’s lineup is looking to be one of the best ever. We can’t give out too many details just yet, but a few of the confirmed names so far are Kidz in the Hall, Regina Belle, Noel Gourdon, Ellis Marsalis Quartet….with more names to be announced soon!

Come on down to J&R Music World on Friday, May 30th, as jazz great Earl Klugh will be stopping by to perform songs from his latest CD, The Spice of Life. After his performance, Earl will be signing copies of his CD for fans.

The event starts at 12:30.

Regina Belle will be performing live and signing autographs of her new CD, Love Forever Shines, at J&R Music World on Tuesday May 20th. The signing will begin at 12:30pm and will take place on the first floor of the music store.

NBA Legend Earl Monroe, known by many as Earl The Pearl, will be at 15 Park Row at 1 PM this Saturday May 17th to meet and greet fans as well as sign autographs.

Earl was a terrific point guard who revolutionized the game of basketball. His ball handling skills often left defenders confused and he is credited as being the innovator of the spin move. Earl was the NBA Rookie of The Year in 1968.

Do not miss the opportunity to meet a living NBA legend in person! Lenovo will be on hand to give out free gifts.

R&B superstar Keith Sweat will be stopping by J&R Music World on Saturday, May 17th to sign autographs of his latest release, Just Me. The signing starts at 12:30.

Frank Sinatra grew up in Hoboken, N.J., just across the river from J&R. Crooner, singer, actor, Rat Pack leader, American icon, Ol’ Blue Eyes is rightfully considered a national treasure.

On Tuesday, May 13, Frank Sinatra, Jr. will appear at our Macy’s store, J&R Express, to autograph the brand-new Frank Sinatra collection Nothing But The Best, which is specially priced at $9.99. This is a single-disc compilation of the best of Sinatra’s Reprise years, and features 22 remixed and remastered classics, including the previously-unissued “Body And Soul”. And, as a special bonus, each CD will include a limited-edition commemorative USPS first-day-issue stamp. The stamp is being issued one day before the 10th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s death.

So mark your calendar for May 13. Frank Sinatra Jr. will be autographing his father’s new album, “Nothing But The Best”, at J&R Express, in the basement of Macy’s flagship store on 34th Street in New York City starting at noon.
