Chibi-Robo Teaches Environmentalism via Fun

Not all video games are overly complicated, violent creations that don’t have any value to kids. Nope, not at all. For every Call of Duty 4, there’s a game like Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol that you’ll be happy to see your kids playing.

The environmentally-conscious game takes place in a not-too-distant future in which pollution has destroyed all the world’s parks. With that somber warning in mind, you take control of a tiny robot who’s mission it is to return the parks to their previous splendor. With the help of some friendly toys, you’ll help flowers grow, clean up the parks, and generally be a good eco-citizen. It’s a fun, bright, simple game that has a great message to deliver without any violence or obscenity, perfect for kids. And heck, it’s pretty fun for adults too, and we can sometimes us a little help getting the message as well, so don’t feel like you’re too big for it.
