Traditionally, real time strategy games were one genre of video games that remained more on PCs, with very few good options available for console gamers. The complexity of the games lent themselves better to keyboard and mouse control schemes than to a controller with a limited number of buttons. It was frustrating for strategy fans to not be able to play their favorite games on their shiny new consoles.
