Command & Conquer Returns with Tiberium Wars

Command and conquer 3

Command & Conquer is just one of those franchises that’s been around for ever. I learned all about war strategy games from Red Alert when I was a kid, and they’re still pumping out quality product after many, many years. Somehow, they’re still on Command & Conquer 3, although I can assure you there have been way more than 3 games with the Command & Conquer moniker attached.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is the latest entry in the venerable series, and it’s headed for the Xbox 360 very soon. Set in the future — 2047, to be exact — Tiberium Wars sticks you in the midst of a post-apocalyptic battlefield, where you’re using all the latest and greatest weaponry and technology to protect the remaining forces of the Global Defense Initiative from the maniacal Kane and his legions from the Brotherhood of Nod. OK, so it’s not exactly the most plausible scenario, but there are already plenty of WWII games out there. If you’re looking for some top-notch strategy combat in an out-there futuristic setting, look no further than Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars.
