Computing for Dirt Cheap

emachines

It’s amazing how cheap computers have gotten. Remember the days when you couldn’t get a computer for less than a couple thousand dollars? Now you can get a computer for less than the price of an iPod. How amazing is that? It’s nice to see that prices for computers have continued to drop, getting them into the hands of more and more people.

This eMachines T5048 may be super cheap, but it’s certainly no slouch. It’s got all the fixings you want on a personal computer, including a DVD burner, a generous 160GB hard drive, and 512MB of RAM. It’s more than powerful enough to get you online, doing the email thing, downloading music and movies, and pretty much anything else with the exception of high-end video editing or hardcore gaming. And with is being so dirt-cheap, even your mom or grandma who’s been putting off getting online has one less excuse for staying stuck in the stone age.
