Cut Like the Pros with Final Cut Express
Video editing is becoming a skill that people other than just pros have these days, what with digital video cameras becoming increasingly popular and so many outlets online for user-made video popping up. So while you could settle for a free program that came with your computer, be it iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, if you want to get a bit more serious about your editing, you’re gonna want to use something a but more robust and full featured.
I’d recommend Apple Final Cut Express 4. It brings many of the advanced features of Final Cut to your Mac without the serious expense, turning your Macbook into a portable movie studio. You’ll be able to cut both 1080i and 720p HD resolutions, use multiple layers of both video and audio, and start dabbling in effects. It’ll definitely help you pump out professional-looking video with less work in less time than using anything else without requiring a degree in Film Editing.
