Don’t Worry — XP is Still Here

Windows XP

So Microsoft recently released their new operating system, Vista, and it hasn’t exactly been a smooth launch. While the new OS has loads of new features, the dudes at Microsoft have been having a heck of a time getting all the programs and peripherals that worked on XP to play nice with Vista. The smart money is on waiting for the second version of Vista to come out, probably around the end of the year, as it’ll be all loaded with patches and fixes.

Until then, however, you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve still got trusty old Windows XP for sale. You might not think that’s a big deal, but with a lot of the major computer manufacturers not offering XP as an option on their new computers anymore, you might want to have the option to go to a more stable setup with your new computer. Heck, XP has been around for a few years now, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to have it work with anything you throw at it. Until Vista gets caught up to speed, you can’t really go wrong with the old standby.
