Drakes Fortune Brings Adventure, Pirates to the PS3

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is one of the most hotly anticipated games headed to the Playstation 3 this year, and with good reason. It looks to have the combination of graphics, story, and action that make a game great, so it’s no wonder that people are chomping at the bit to get their hands on it.

The game revolves around one Nathan Drake, an adventurer and treasure hunter not unlike someone like Indiana Jones. Not only will you be hunting for a long lost treasure on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but you’ll also have to survive attacks by modern day pirates. Yes, pirates! I don’t know why no game before this one has combined the awesomeness of pirates with the fun and adventure of treasure hunting, but I’m glad it’s finally happened. You can look forward to some of the best graphics the Playstation 3 has to offer, with lush jungle scenes rendered so well you could swear you’re actually there. Not that you’d want to be, what with all those murderous pirates around. And you wondered why people were excited about this game.
