Earth Day Celebration at J&R JR. April 22nd
We’re raising awareness and appreciation of Earth’s natural environment by throwing an Earth Day Celebration at J&R Jr.! To kick the Earth Day Celebration off right, we have none other than Moey’s Music Party!
Moey, (a.k.a., “Melissa Levis”) created Central Park’s Sandbox Sing-Along Series and rocked Off-Broadway with Moey Live – P is for Party! She will have Moey’s Music Party classes this summer in Central Park and regularly entertains at schools, concerts, and birthday parties across the tri-state area and New England.
Moey’s Music Party entertains thousands of children at FAO Schwarz, The Tribeca Film Festival, The New York Public Library, and more. Happily Ever Moey! A Fairy Tale Lark in Central Park, their Summer 2011 DVD/CD won a Parent’s Choice “Fun Stuff” Award, National Parenting Publications Award, Kids First! Award, Creative Child Award, and a starred review in School Library Journal. Recently, Happily Ever Moey! was named one of the Top 10 Products at Toy Fair 2012.
According to The New York Times, Moey’s Music Party “is a fabulous party!” Time Out NY Kids said the band is “sure to transport the under-10 set into a genuine tizzy!” New York Post said Moey’s Music Party is “spreading the message of kid power!”
Moey’s Music Party will be on hand at 11am in J&R Jr. at 1 Ann Street.
As part of our Earth Day Celebration we’ll have Arts and Crafts with Lazoo from 11am to 5pm and Moonsoup Music Class beginning at 12:30pm.
