Fancy a Mouse with your Gaming Console?

Splitfish GameFrag

New consoles such as the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 offer some of the hottest games and the best graphics around, and they’re a cheaper and easier way to get your game on than dealing with putting together and maintaining a gaming PC. The problem is, the controllers that these consoles come with are oftentimes no match for the standard mouse-and-keyboard setup, which many argue is the best way to play first-person shooters such as Gears of War or Call of Duty.

What’s a console gamer to do? Get the best of both worlds with the Splitfish FragFX. Coming soon for the Playstation 3, it’s a combination of a Sixaxis controller and a mouse. You hold half a controller in one hand, and in the other you use a mouse. It’s sure to give you a sizable advantage in shooters, and if you’re used to PC gaming it’ll make the transition to console gaming as easy as pie. Now if they’d just release a version for the Xbox 360, we could all be happy.
