Flip Makes Creating Online Videos a Snap

Flip Video Camera

It’s official: creating digital videos and putting them online is now so easy that anyone can do it. That’s because the Flip Video Camera is here, and it makes creating videos and sharing them as novice-friendly as humanly possible. Featuring no tapes or cards, just built-in memory, it doesn’t force the technologically-challenged to figure out what kind of recording format they need. Just pop it out of the box and go.

There are no cables, either. Just flip out the USB plug and stick it into your computer and the Flip will take care of the rest. Recording video is totally easy as well, featuring a big old red record button and not much else other than a power and zoom buttons. Once your masterpiece is loaded on your computer, the Flip can upload your videos to YouTube, Google Video, or Grouper with no hassles whatsoever.

So it’s good news for technophobes who want to get on the online video bandwagon, but that also might mean it’s bad news for people who like sorting through videos online, as they’re going to have a lot more material to look through in the near future.
