Celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of J&R Music World’s Classical Music depart, classical pianist Gabriela Montero will be performing & signing autographs as part of FREE live WQXR radio remote. The performance will start at noon on Saturday, November 10th.

Gabriela’s deeply-felt and technically brilliant classical improvisations have their roots in baroque and classical music and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with her inspired performances of core repertoire. From Bach and Mozart to Bruckner, improvisation played as essential a part of a musician’s life as it does today for Gabriela. It was in this spirit that Gabriela has released Bach and Beyond, a full CD of improvisations.
