Games Wii Want

rayman raving rabbids

  • Rayman: Raving Rabbids. The puzzle platforming of Rayman games wrapped up in a loose part where crazy rabbits are taking over the world.

  • Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. A good fighting game is a great way to pass a rainy day. A good fighting game with classic Dragonball Z characters is a great way to pass a weekend, even when it’s warm & the sun’s out.

  • Metal Slug Anthology. The Metal Slug games ate a lot of our quarters back in the days of arcades. We never followed the sequels on the consoles, so this’ll be a good chance to keep up.

  • Rampage Total Destruction. Another nod to arcade days. We played this one a lot too; we were addicted to it on the consoles, too. There’s something cathartic about become a giant monster and knocking down a whole city. Cheaper than therapy, too.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We haven’t watched the new cartoons, but the games have never disappointed. Besides, we grew up with it. If the reviews are good, we’ll pick it up for the sake of revisiting our childhoods.

  • Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII. We like the WWII combat stuff as much as the next guy, but it’s time for a change. You’ve fought on the ground plenty of times in games like Call Of Duty 3 - now it’s time to take to the skies & battle for control of the air, in classic fighter planes from the Second World War.

  • Bionicle Heroes. The Bionicle stuff is made for kids, but we’re kids at heart so that suits us. Beat the bad guys while building new weapons and items, and save the LEGO world of Mata Nui.

  • Mario Party 8. No information on this one yet, but we were huge fans of the last one, so the newest version should make us even happier.

  • Sonic and the Secret Rings. Sonic games are always great, and this one’s supposed to be more story-oriented. You can’t go wrong with high-speed Sonic.

  • Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Again, there’s something great about messing people up in video games. See Rampage Total Destruction for details.
