Get Covered in DiRT This Summer

If you’ve got a hankerin’ for some messy, off-road fun, but are cruelly stuck in New York City without an off-road vehicle or any mud to drive through if you somehow had one of those, don’t fret. You can always get your kicks via videogames. Sure, it’s not exactly the same, but with the graphical powers of next-gen consoles, it’s pretty close.
For some seriously authentic action, you’re going to definitely want to check out Colin McRae: DiRT. Featuring insane off-roading action in real locations using real photos and based on satellite maps, it’s the closest you’re ever gonna come to being a professional mud jockey. You can pilot 46 real-life vehicles and watch them get destroyed when you take a turn a little wide. There are real consequences to your driving follies in this game, so it’ll teach you how to stay alive in the most unforgiving ways possible. But hey, if you wanted forgiving, you’d go to the park, right?
