Go MAD For the mStation Stereo Orb

This is a gadget journal & tech blog (among other things) so we track what other gadget-heads are doing to spread the word about tech that makes ‘em warm and fuzzy inside. A very wacky tech-centric podcast we’ve just discovered & liked is Giz Wiz. It’s produced by Brooklyn’s own Dick DeBartolo, (known as Mad’s Maddest Writer) working with famous tech-head podcaster and long-time radio personality Leo LaPorte. Dick and Leo really like gadgets and each other, Dick is a comic genius and manages to get in a hilarious story about the early days of Mad Magazine, Leo can’t get enough, they both laugh a lot on the show and we think you will too.

The latest Giz Wiz broadcast gave props to the mStation Stereo Orb which Dick found on JR.com. We’ve been loving what it does, too — it sounds good and it’s the most unusual looking iPod speaker out there. It evens comes in more colors than black & white! If you want something different for the home or office, pick one up.
