Gran Turismo Finally Coming to the PS3

When it comes to racing simulators, there’s really just one name that stands out above all the rest: Gran Turismo. The venerable series is pretty much the defining name in the genre, delivering incredibly realistic racing action with hundreds of real cars on real tracks. It’s the ultimate game for car guys, letting you tinker around under the hood and get behind the wheel of every sexy car you can think of. And now, the game is getting the next gen treatment.

Yes, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is coming for the Playstation 3. As you can tell by the name, it’s not the full Gran Turismo 5, which is still being worked on, but it does deliver the game’s engine with 30 cars and 5 tracks. It’s just enough to give you the thrill of driving with some of the best graphics ever. And hey, just when you’ve run through all of the cars, the full game will come out with many times that many. You could handle it all without a little prep work, and that’s what the Prologue is for. Get to it.
