Half Life 2 is one of the best first-person shooters to hit the PC in recent years, with stunning graphics, amazing locations, and a gripping storyline. To make it even better, Valve, the developer, has released two “mini sequels” to it already, continuing the game where it leaves off at the end. The only problem is that its been PC-only, leaving console players out in the cold. Until now.
Half Life 2 : The Orange Box is chock full of goodies previously unavailable to Xbox 360 owners. It includes Half Life 2 as well as both Episode 1 and Episode 2, allowing you to see what all the fuss is about. It also includes Team Fortress 2, a great, cartoony multiplayer game with a cult following, and Portal, a strange action/puzzle game that utilizes the Half Life engine to allow you to manipulate a 3-D environment. It’s a great value, as you essentially get five great games for the price of one, all of which have been tested and loved by PC games already. I guess it was worth the wait, huh?
