The JVC GZ-MG255 Everio Hard Drive Camcorder’s 30GB hard drive gives you enough room to record 7 hours of DVD-movie quality video or over 37 hours of Internet quality video without tapes. Then you can drag the clips through USB or Firewire to your Computer at 12x transfer rate.

The Everio’s F1.2 lens gives bright and clear pictures in low light conditions. It uses a large CCD with 5,370,000 pixels and4x oversampling concentrates the image for low noise and two selectable modes of more Vivid or more Natural colors. 32x Optical & 800x Digital Hyper Zoom gets in close and the 16:9 Widescreen aspect allows you to playback big.

A 4-way one-finger control on the outside edge of the LCD operates everything — even allows you to check the remaining battery power and recording time even while the camcorder’s power is off. You can also control it remotely.

The Everio comes with a conveniet docking cradle with for charging the camera and transfering the video. With the optional JVC CU-VD10 Everio Share Station burner or with your PC, you can burn to DVD or backup, intelligently, to your PC.
