Heroes Flies to DVD

Heroes was NBCs breakout hit last season, an instantly-addicting show about, well, heroes. Superheroes to be exact. Both inspired by and building upon the legends written about in comic books, it’s a new twist on superhero stories, bringing something new to the table while staying true to its roots.
The show revolves around a group of regular people who all discover that they’ve got amazing abilities they never knew about. Everything from flying to mind reading, time travel to predicting the future, it’s all covered. And as these people discover their abilities, they discover there are people out there looking for them, not all of them with the most altruistic of motives. It’s this setup that starts the show, and it rockets along at breakneck speed from there. I don’t want to spoil anything for people fresh from the show, but suffice to say the first season has enough twists and turns to keep you glued to your seat for the whole run of it, leaving you practically begging for the second season when its all over.
