How often have you had a new song or album loaded up on your iPod that you wanted to share with a friend but had no way of doing it? Sure, the Zune might have WiFi for sharing songs wirelessly, but those songs can only be listened to three times. We don’t need fancy wireless; we need a simple way of sending songs back and forth between portable devices.
The Hitch USB Transfer Adapter is that simple way. The small device acts as a bridge between any two USB devices. Hook a couple iPods up to it and you can easily transfer songs and files between the two. Put photos from your digital camera right onto your iPod, move songs between two different brands of players, or load videos from your laptop onto your portable media player. It can do it all. Even better is that the Hitch acts as a portable charger as well, juicing up your power-hungry gadgets via that USB port. Sure, that WiFi feature would be nice, but until it actually does something useful I’ll stick with a cabled alternative that actually acts as advertised.
