How the iPod is Changing Major League Baseball
The iPods are changing the way everything works, even in pro sports. Professional athletes have discovered a new use for the iPod: Using it to study their opponents. The Colorado Rockies are using it to check out batting styles. It’s a clever idea: Keep a portable reference of your rivals and study them, with a hard drive that fits in your pocket. Plus you can still store your favorite songs & TV clips on it, too.
The iPod Video really does open up a world of possibilities. Think of everything you can do to improve your performance, with a portable video reference. When you’re doing a presentation, you can review your past performances & prepare more effectively, before the big show. If you’re a student, bring a video camera to record lectures - then review them while hanging out in the student lounge. The ability to see video wherever you go has way too many benefits to name here. So why don’t you have one yet?
