Is Wireless High Def Steaming Coming Soon?
An Israeli firm is claiming that it can do wireless HD streaming. Think about that for a second: A gorgeous 720p or 1080i video signal, sent through your walls and to your LCD or plasma screen. That would take a signal that supports up to 3GB/s throughput - which would be a major technical feat, if it can be done. Amimon says they can do it, which means no more need for HDMI cables. Their Website says they’ll be debuting this new tech at the CES show in a few weeks. We’ll keep you updated.
