It’s No Secret

So, if you’re one of the downtown-metro hip Real New Yorkers, you know all about the incredible secret show tonight and we don’t need to tell you about it. We just want you to know that we knew about it too, to show off how we’re hip like that.

But since it’s happening tonight, we might as well spill the beans anyway. The Strokes, Kanye West, Goldfrapp and Carl Cox are set to play an exclusive secret show TONIGHT, courtesy of Hennessy. No one’s ever revealed exactly where it is; they just said it’s at an “upscale Bowery location.” Our spies tells that it’s at a high-end nightclub called Capitale. If you can make it out there tonight, bring a bottle of Hennessy and see if you can sneak in. Or just hang out by the front door & drink the Hennessy out of a paper bag, just like people did in the Bowery’s bad old days. Either way, we’re sure you’ll do some celebrity-spotting.

We’re also hearing about a super-secret party being hosted by The Rolling Stones, where the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be playing an unannounced show. All we know for sure about that one is that it’s supposed to be happening this week, somewhere in Manhattan. If we hear anything we’ll post it here & give the party-crashers a leg up. After all, there’s no reason the rich & famous should get ALL the fun..
