Jamie Cullum Live at J&R

A very fun performance from a true showman. Cullum was on top of his game (and on top of the piano for part of the set) both musically and in his witty between-song banter. He also was effusive in his praise of his host, calling J&R "one of the last true music stores." He went on to tell how he'd had a revelation a few years back while in City Hall Park at J&R's JazzFest watching the great Wynton Marsalis, for free. Afterwards, he went to the top of the World Trade Center, looked out at the world and decided that this is what he wanted to be - a musician.
