JawBone Classes Up Bluetooth Headsets

Jawbone Headset

If you’re gonna be one of those people who walks around with a Bluetooth headset on their ear, talking away while looking a little awkward due to the fact that you’re walking alone without holding a phone to your head, the least you can do is make sure your Bluetooth headset is stylish. After all, nothing would be worse than using a dorky-looking device to do something that’s inherently dorky looking.

That’s why you should go with one of these Aliph JawBone Bluetooth Headset Cellular Phone Edition. It’s one of the best looking Bluetooth headsets out there by a pretty wide margin, but it’s not just a pretty face. It also has military grade noise cancellation built in, making sure you hear all of your conversation no matter what’s going on around you while you’re talking. Not that you should be ignoring what’s around you while talking on your headset; that’d be a pretty dorky thing to do.

    Dear Joy,

I too had the same problem with mine (or so I thought).

Here's how I fixed the problem:

    1. First, instead of bending the upper part of my ear to put on the hook, I slid it on from the top of my ear in a backward rotational movement so that the tip of the rubber covering on the hook slid around in a semi-circle, from my ear-top down to the back of my ear. In doing this, you should ensure that the round rubber ear-piece is firmly pivoted in your ear when you rotate the device.

    2. when you finish the rotation, the headset will be pointing not perpendicularly downward but slightly forward as if it is aiming for your toes.

    3. If you're doing this correctly, you should ordinarily be able to use more than one type of the hooks satisfactority.

All of this may sound complicated, but soon you'll be doing it involuntarily.

    Good luck

    I love this headset!

I had the same problem with the rubber ear piece popping out. It was made doubly bothersome because the silicon jawbone tip would not make contact with my cheek making the noise-cancellation work against me.

To fix the problem i had to take two steps.

    1. follow the advise above and rotate the earpiece from top to bottom to put it on.

    2. Try some of the other rubber ear pieces on. I found the semi-triangular one the best fit. It stays in my ear without any trouble.

I wouldn't trade this bluetooth set for any other!!

I LOVE MY JAWBONE!! I've tried many, even the blueant z9 and nothing sounds as good as the jawbone. Now, all this said I hated the ear piece, the loop and the part that goes in the
ear. EASY SOLUTION...go to a place where they make hearing aids and tell them you want them to make an impression of your ear and make you an ear piece for your jawbone. I did it on Monday and got my new ear piece on Wed. (them make them on site) and now I can wear my jawbone with NO hooks and I now have to turn my volume WAYYYY down because I can hear so well through my new ear piece. IT ROCKS!!! I can even exercise with it on....and the best thing it only cost $45....
I hope this helps all of you out there in pain with this ear piece and over the ear hanger...

    Hi,

Maybe some one could help me with the Jawbone that all of you are talking about.

With already having problems with my hearing as it is, I have read what all of you wrote and am hesitant in regards to purchasing the Jawbone. I need two (2) of them.

It sounds complicated. Setting the ear piece in so that it will not only stay in the ear but also having it fit comfortably. I do not want to be driving and having to fix it and move it around etc. Or... am I asking for the impossible?

Thanks everyone. Any info would help me.

Should have added this in with my other post.

If this JAWBONE is that "great", than why would we need a guarantee on it?

When you guys bought the jawbone, did you also purchase this as well?

    Thanks again-

I should have typed warranty, not guarantee.

But you cannot go back and edit any info after you have submitted your comment.

    :/
  • Maybe I am one of those who has never had much success with things like this placed in my ears, but many of our customers sure seem to like these Jawbone devices. We suggest you give it a try and if it does not fit the bill, then we would consider taking it back from you.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1(800)221-8180 and we'll be delighted to answer them.

    Jimmy,

I am confused about your post. As with this statement that you said, "We suggest you give it a try and if it does not fit the bill, then we would consider taking it back from you."

I would like to have you respond so that I may understand the statement you made.

    Thanks
  • Hi, Karyn.

Sorry. I surely didn't intend to be so obtuse.

You might remember the old ad campaign, "Try it, you'll like it"? Well, that's what I meant. If you buy this and it is absolutely wonderful, terrific. If not, then we'll take it back from you. We have a 30 day return policy that favorably compares with any out there.

I hope this answers your question. ;-))

    Jimmy
