J&R’s First Ever Health and Safety Week

J&R is proud to roll out our first ever HEALTH & SAFETY WEEK featuring events, seminars and demos all week long. J&R, as part of the NYC community, regards your health and well-being with the utmost importance. Our HEALTH & SAFETY WEEK is a way for us to encourage our NYC neighbors to eat well, live well, and feel well. Have a look below at the all the great things we have in store for you during the event.

Sunday June 3rd is Health and Wellness Day at J&R Jr! Our event at New York’s Best Super-Boutique for Kids is loaded with healthy food habits and recipes. Come in and Meet:

• 11AM – Save A Tot Founder Pamela Brewer RN, C.C.E., Certified American Heart and First Aid Instructor will join us to cover valuable safety topics including choking hazards, Heimlich Maneuver, drowning prevention, summer safety, and falls.

• 12PM – Liza Huber CEO and Founder of Sage Bears, LLC and creator of Sage Spoonfuls joins us to discuss starting your baby on solids, preventing picky eating, and how to provide healthy, homemade baby food by cooking only 1 hour every 2 weeks!

• 1PM – Gigi Lee Chang is CEO of Healthy Child Healthy World, a non-profit that provided information & resources to empower parents to protect their children from harmful chemicals. She is also the Founder of Plum Organics and will show you 5 easy ways to reduce toxins in your home.

• 2PM – Cricket Azima as the Founder and big cheese of The Creative Kitchen works with a variety of food companies offering a range of services including spokesperson, recipe development and testing, writing, teaching, family outreach, blogging, creating webisodes, and consulting. Cricket will be giving tips on how to cook successfully for and with toddlers then at 3PM Cricket and The Creative Kitchen will lead a FREE cooking session for kids ages 2 to 5. A chaperone is required for this session.

• In addition to these great guests experts from The Fitness Cell will be hosting two FREE Classes
• 12PM – Resistance Training Class available at Door #2
• 2PM – One Pilates/Dance/Yoga based class at Door #2

Plus we’ll have giveaways, promotions, and enter to win contests!
