J&R Scores With Zagat
The Zagat NYC Shopping Guide 2013 just surfaced and J&R scored an impressive 24/30 with the prestigious publication. Zagats had this to say regarding the anchor of Civic Center shopping.
This (J&R) Park Row staple that “makes heads spin” with its “huge variety of anything that uses electricity” in “multiple” stores spanning a “city block.” For “reliable” choices and “competitive pricing” you “gotta love it.”
Joe & Rachelle Friedman opened their first music store on Park Row in New York City in 1971, where they sold vinyl LPs of the current chart-toppers. Since that time, the business has expanded steadily. J&R now covers a massive city block across from City Hall Park in the heart of Downtown Manhattan.
