Just for Kicks: Kogeto Dot Makes 360 Shooting Fun Again

Share

Shooting panoramic videos has always been something of a painstaking process. Camera moves can be jerky and you usually had to tote around a tripod to have any chance at a stable image. Not to mentioning having to keep the camera properly aligned during the shooting process. You know what I’m talking about. The Kogeto Dot for the iPhone4 and iPhone4S takes all the work out of it.

Set up for the Dot is easy. Download the free Looker App from the app store, attach the Dot to your iPhone (you’ll have to remove any external case to do this), calibrate with a pinch and resize, and you’re ready to shoot!

Recording too is quite simple. Touch the red dot to start and stop or you use the VOLUME UP control on your phone. Either rest the phone flat on a surface or hold it in the palm of your hand and shoot away! After a short registration with Kogeto you can share your videos (called “dotspots”) on Facebook, Twitter, Kogeto.com, or via email.

The Kogeto Dot is simply a fun way to shoot and share 360 videos. It comes in four colors so I’m certain there’s a look for everyone. Shoot 360 Panoramic Videos and have fun while doing it. Just for kicks.
