Love him or hate him, Quentin Tarantino has directed some of the most over the top, yet critically acclaimed movies in the last 16 or so years. I personally fall into the camp that likes Tarantino’s work. I think he’s brilliant.
So with much glee and fervent anticipation, i’m happy to see that both Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2 will be released on blu-ray September 9th. I can’t see how anyone with a blu-ray player that is even remotely a fan of these movies can pass this up on blu-ray. This is guaranteed to be a visual and auditory delight.
The reviews about the film transfer and PCM audio have been stellar. You can check out the reviews here and here.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave, Kill Bill tells the story of a bride on her quest for revenge against the man who tried to have her killed by assassins.
So now that Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs are now on blu-ray, here’s to hoping that the movie studios release Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Death Proof on blu-ray. We’ve waited long enough!! Every Tarantino movie deserves to be on blu-ray.
