New Koss Earbuds Let You Dial in Comfort

Koss cc_01

Tired of getting earbuds that are either uncomfortable to wear or just don’t block out the outside sounds surrounding you? Well, the Koss CC_01 Custom Fit Earbuds solve those problems. The design features a unique mechanism that blossoms the ear tip with the turn of a dial. This revolutionary design allows music lovers to dial in their own Custom Fit setting for maximum isolation and listening pleasure. Specially designed active memory ear cushions form a perfect seal to block outside noise. Two additional pairs of these unique cushions are included.

The CC_01 comes with two storage cases: a hard case for ultimate protection and a glove soft leather case for your pocket. The 4 foot, dual entry fabric padded cord is designed to wrap around your portable music player to create its own protective case. The addition of a sliding cord clip helps reduce tangles.

I find it interesting that companies are trying to develop all types of marketing pitches to have us think that we are getting a custom fit when the only way to get a custom fit is to take 10 minutes of your time and have impressions of your ears made. I'm not an audiophile but I enjoy my comfort. I purchased iPod attachments from a company called Earsound Customs (www.earsound.com). Now my standard iPod earbuds fit snugly into the attachments which then go into my ears. The comfort is unparalleled. An unintended benefit is that my cell phone's hands free device also fit into the iPod attachments so I can listen to my conference calls in comfort. Hope this helps.
