LG Shine is Nice, Still Not an iPhone Though

Sure, the iPhone may be the hottest new phone as of today, but some people don’t need all those bells and whistles and might not want to drop $600 on a cell phone. LG is hoping there are at least a few people who think that way at least, as their new Shine is a really slick phone that risks being overshadowed by Apple’s big announcement today.

The Shine might not have a fancy touchscreen or OS X loaded on it, but its light, slim, and has a nice bright screen on it. It’s strange to think that a phone that’s loaded with a camera can be considered bare-bones now, but compared to the iPhone its feature list is pretty short. But hey, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. When it’s finally released later this year it should provide a nice alternative to the high priced and feature stuffed iPhone. To people who like that sort of thing.

ahh...It starts! Everything will be compared to iPhone now. That's good though I guess, it will certainly put things into perspective.
