Emoticons, those little sideways faces that you make while typing out of various characters (example: ;-P) aren’t exactly the most expressive things in the world. Sure, they’re a cute way to say you’re happy or sad with whatever is transpiring in your online interactions, but couldn’t you do a little better? Sure you could.
That’s what the iBuddy is for. A little peripheral that’s shaped like a human figure with wings, it can be programmed to do any number of emotive things when you’re chatting with friends over the internet. It can emote when someone specific gets online, so you can tell when they sign on from across the room. It can also react when specific emoticons are typed out in your chat sessions, adding that much more flavor to your online conversations. Sure, it’s a bit frivolous, but not ever computer peripheral has to be serious business, does it?
