Medal of Honor: Airborne Drops You Behind Enemy Lines

If there’s a war that video games have gotten more mileage out of than WWII, I haven’t heard about it. And, while no history scholar, I like to think that I’m aware of most of the major wars in recent history. Despite the fact that countless games have covered the conflict (and really, is there a better real-life enemy out there than the Nazis?), the Medal of Honor series still manages to have a unique angle with their games.
The latest is Medal Of Honor: Airborne, which focuses on a group of paratroopers that keep on getting dropped behind enemy lines. Parachuting doesn’t just come into play in the single-player campaign, either; you’ll be able to parachute into enemy territory in the multiplayer version as well, putting a new spin on a genre that’s been done countless times before. It just goes to show that no matter how many times something’s been done, there’s always someone out there who’ll find a new way to play it.
