Microsoft Releases the Third Generation Zune

It goes without saying, the iPod is the ubiquitous portable player for the masses. Justifiably so might I add. It’s sleek, easy to use and is aesthetically pleasing, so it should come as no surprise that it is very successful.

However, the iPod is not the only dance in town. Those looking for alternatives to the iPod need not look further than the 120GB Microsoft Zune. This is the thid generation Zune and the reviews have been nothing short of stellar. From CNET to David Pogue from the NY Times, they are all in unison that the Zune is a great player.

It’s always good to have competition, and the Microsoft Zune is a viable alternative to the iPod. It is a great portable device.
