Ah ..ladies and gentleman forget about the Dr. Dre connection other than the fact that he IS a producer and has discriminating taste...I heard them...GREAT Headphones.. If you're looking for high quality stereo sound from your headphones in this Ipod, Zune generation, these are the phones. Most of us wouldn't plop down $300.00 for a set of headphones but if you depend on hearing high quality privately, Monster Beats are worth it.

Listened to them in a Fry's in califorina, I have NEVER heard sound dampening AND audio clarity together at this level or these volumes. I have owned bose headphones and honestly think these are head and shoulders above. Also I feel like if Monster kept Dre's name off and just sold them as top quality Monster headphones people wouldn't be so skeptical. It's not like Monster doesn't know it's A/V equipment.

I need to hear more than promises before dropping that kind of cash for a rappers headphones. I find it hard to imagine that Dr Dre and a cable maker teamed up to circumvent the likes of Sennheiser, Bose, Yamaha. Words from CNET don't mean much just like a toaster review from Glamour Magazine wouldn't mean much. Can anyone vouch for these things?
