Motorola Follows Up the RAZR with the RAZR2
The Motorola RAZR is the most popular cell phone ever released. If you didn’t or don’t own one, chances are a sizable chunk of your friends did. With that kind of track record, it goes without saying that Motorola is going to follow it up and try to recapture the magic of the original.
The RAZR2 is the unoriginally named successor to the RAZR, and it’s out now. The biggest change in the new phone is the inclusion of an LCD touchscreen on the front with haptic feedback technology. That means the screen responds when you touch it, making it feel like hitting actual buttons. You’ll be able to do things like control you music, read text messages, and even watch mobile video without opening the phone. As for how it looks, well, they didn’t mess with a winning formula. It’s a bit thinner, but overall it doesn’t look all that different than the original. But hey, if you liked your RAZR, chances are you’ll also like your RAZR2.
