Today we recieved an email about Microvision. They’re a tech firm who make display equipment for the military. Microvision has a Head-Up Display (HUD), just like the ones used in modern fighter jets, that you can install in your car. It’ll project vital information about your speed, route, gas and more right onto the windshield, which lets you keep your eyes on the road at all times. Along the same lines, they’ve built small monitors you can wear as eyepieces and a mini projector that lets you display what’s on your PDA or cell phone screen, for easier viewing. According to their press release, the mini-projector is called the “Thin Mint” and will be debuting at CES.
Thanks to Lenny in Sunset Park, for bringing these guys to our attention.
