College football is one of the most fun and exciting sports to watch, but every season seems to end the same way: with frustration at the stupid BCS bowl system. Perhaps it would be good for your blood pressure to take a break from watching college ball… and to start playing it.
No, I’m not suggesting you go back to school and try your hand at being a division one running back. I’m suggesting something a bit more low impact: NCAA Football 2008 for the Xbox 360. It’ll allow you to coach the ultimate college dynasty, controlling everything from the recruitment process to the on-the-field dynamics. You can progress over many seasons, becoming a legendary coach that’ll go down in sporting history. And hey, maybe it’ll be enough to distract you from the fact that the BCS bowl system is such a huge mess.
