“No Country For Old Men” is Cinematic Perfection

No Country For Old Men is one of the most celebrated movie of last year, the product of some of the best directors currently working today and one of the best authors of the past 30 years.
Based on the book by Cormac McCarthy, the Coen Brothers created a perfectly paced and directed epic about a drug deal gone bad, a soulless hitman, and the good old boy who’s unlucky enough to get caught in the middle. It’s a relentlessly bloody movie, one that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. That’s not to say it’s a mindless action movie; not in the slightest. The Coen Brothers strike a perfect balance with meditative introspection from the perspective of an aging sheriff played with pitch perfection by Tommy Lee Jones.
It’s really no wonder it won so many awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. Isn’t it time you got on board?
